Microsoft seems quite busy in developing several Lumia smartphones to entice customers. Recently, a new rumour has been caught over web, saying for some new handset. Well, the name of the device has not been revealed anywhere, but it is speculated that it would get the name Lumia 940. Wait! It’s not the only smartphone, one more device is also under working which will be showing competence in market later. This another device is allegedly called as Lumia 940XL.
It seems like Redmond giant is feeling enchanted with its new style of naming convention which is about adding the text along with the numbers. Or, you could say that company loves to bring an XL variant. The same you can see with this latest. Two new devices have been rumoured, where one has a large 5.7-inch display. It will keep it in the phablet category like Lumia 640XL.
It is also said that both devices will share almost identical specs except the battery and display. As the bigger display needs more power to lit-up. As Lumia devices are better known for their camera quality. The same you will see here in the upcoming gadget. Well, this will become more improved with 24-25 MegaPixel rear shooter. It is also expected to come with 5MP front-facing imager, perfect to meet with the demands of selfie addicts.
It is also speculated that Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL will run on Windows 10 OS. You can also experience IRIS scanning and 3D interaction also on these upcoming Lumia devices. Well, there is no official confirmation on such rumours, so take them as a pinch of salt.
