Mobiistar, Vietnamese smartphone manufacturer has launched five smartphones called with, Mobiistar C1, C1 Lite, Mobistar C2, E1 Selfie, and X1 Dual in India on 1st August 2018. These smartphones have been fallen into the category of a budget segment and price ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 11, 000.
It is worth noting all these smartphones will be available for purchase from 2nd August exclusively at offline stores across India. The company says that our main aim is to expand the business by collaborating with 600 retail partners in India to make a strong presence in the offline market.
Further, the company claims that currently, we have 1000 service centers across India.
Carl Ngo, Co-founder and CEO of Mobiistar, India and Global stated in a press release while launching the smartphone, "Our phones cater to the selfie driven Indian who is also cost conscious thus Mobiistar provides a meaningful user experience with affordability.
We want to give our consumers a chance to shine and Enjoy More through our new range and provide them with excellent service quality assuring them end to end convenience. With our new range of selfie centric smartphones, we aim to be the part of top 5 smartphone brands in the affordable segment by the end of the year.”
The Mobiistar C1 has been priced at Rs 4,340, while the C1 and C2 come with a price tag of Rs 5,400, and Rs 6,300 respectively. Further, the E1 Selfie and the X1 Dual is to made available at Rs 8,400, and Rs 10,500 respectively.
The Mobiistar C1 boasts a 5.34-inch FWVGA+ IPS display which offers the screen resolution of 480x960 pixels. On the top, it has a 2.75D curved glass which protects the smartphone from scratches and damages.
The C1 is equipped with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage that can be further extended up to 128GB by using a microSD card. It comes with dual hybrid sim slots.
In terms of optics, the Mobiistar C1 gets a single 5-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel selfie snapper. Under the hood, it is powered by a 3000mAh battery.
The Mobiistar C1 Lite features a 5.34-inch FWVGA+ IPS Full View display with a screen resolution of 480x960 pixels. It comes with a 2.75D curved screen protect the smartphone from damages and scratches.
The C1 Lite is bundled with 1GB RAM and 8GB onboard storage which can be extended up to 128GB. The C1 Lite supports dual-SIM slot and a dedicated micro SD card.
In terms of lens, the C1 Lite packs a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 5-megapixel rear camera. The C1 Lite has a battery back up of 2700mAh.
The Mobiistar C2 has a 5.34-inch IPS full-screen display with a screen resolution of 480x960 pixels. The C2 is bundled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The users can further extend the storage capacity up to 128GB. The C2 supports dual sim hybrid slot.
In terms of photography, the Mobiistar C2 gets a single 8- megapixel rear and 8-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera has an LED flash and autofocus feature. It is armed with a 3000mAh battery
Mobiistar E1 Selfie sport a 5.45-inch HD+ IPS full view display which offers a screen resolution of 1440 x 720-pixel resolution. On the top, it is protected with 2.5D curved glass.
It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage with an option to extend further up to 128GB. It comes with dual hybrid SIM slots.
As far as camera specifications are concerned, the Mobiistar E1 Selfie gets a similar 13MP sensors on the rear and front cameras. The rear and front cameras have an LED flash and autofocus feature.
Under the hood, it is powered by a 3000mAh battery. The company claims that E1 Selfie smartphone allows you to capture, “exceptionally clear and bright images that are best in the segment. “
Lastly, Mobiistar X1 Dual flaunts a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS full view display with a screen resolution of 720x1440 pixels. On the top, the smartphone has a 2.75D curved glass which protects the smartphone from any damages.
It is powered by a MediaTek MT6737H SoC coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage. The storage capacity can be further extended up to 128GB by using a microSD card. It gets a 3000mAh battery. It supports dual hybrid SIM.
In terms of optics, the Mobiistar X1 Dual comes with a dual selfie- camera consisting of 13- megapixel primary sensor and an 8- megapixel secondary sensor. It is touted to have a specialized 120-degree wide-angle lens 8-megapixel camera to capture a wider view. The smartphone gets a 13MP camera sensor on the rear panel.
Additionally, all these selfie- centric smartphones having a 7-level face beauty mode coupled with updated photo-processing algorithms. The company claims that by using beauty filter mode the users can click better photos in Mobiistar selfie- centric smartphones, “ brighten and soften the skin, enlarge eyes and enhance the v-line of the face.”
