Moto C and Moto C plus launched with Nougat, Android 7 and Front Flash

After so many rumors and speculations, Motorola has officially launched Moto C and Moto C plus today. It will sell during the spring season in several countries which covers Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. Moto C forthcoming in two versions, 3G and 4G. The 3G version of the Moto C starting at EUR 89 (approximately Rs. 6,200) along with 1GB RAM/8GB storage. While on another hand, the 4G version of the Moto C will sell at EUR 99 (approximately Rs. 6,900) along with 1GB RAM/8GB storage. Moto C plus variant starts at €119 (approximately Rs. 8,300) with 1GB RAM/16GB storage.

From the specification front, Moto C smartphone sports 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. It is coupled by a 1GHz MediaTek MT6737M quad-core processor Cortex-A53 SoC along with just 1GB of RAM. Inbuilt storage capacity options are 8GB or 16GB, that can be further extended via a microSD card (up to 32GB). It weighs 154 grams and the dimensions are at 145.5x73.6x9mm. It packs a 2350mAh removable battery. It will be available in several color variants, Metallic Cherry, Pearl White, Fine Gold, and Starry Black.

In terms of optics, Moto C smartphone include 5-megapixel rear camera along with a 74-degree field of view, 720p video recording, LED flash and with fixed focus. 2-megapixel front camera along with a 1-micron pixel, 63-degree field of view, fixed focus, LED flash.

Moto C plus is similar to Moto C in terms of design, but some changes will be added in terms of specification. For example, the Moto C Plus operates better battery life, rear camera, CPU frequency, display resolution, and even RAM. It is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core Cortex-A53 SoC and coupled with 2GB RAM. Inbuilt storage capacity 16GB. It measures and weighs 144x72.3x10 mm and 162 grams respectively. The battery is one of the biggest improvement seen in Moto C plus and it packs a 4000mAh battery. It includes 8- the megapixel rear camera with a 71-degree field of view, f/2.2 aperture, 1.12-micron pixels, autofocus and LED flash. All other specifications are similar to Moto C.

Both the Motorola smartphones are sporting with capacitive navigation buttons. Fingerprint scanner function will not available in the smartphones. 3.5 mm audio jack is placed on the top edge of the smartphone.
