Moto G5 Plus Leaked Image Confirms 5.2-inch Screen And Other Specifications

Lenovo’s Moto G5 Plus is all set to make its appearance at MWC 2017, but a new leaked live image unveiled the specifications of the upcoming handset ahead of its launch. A leaked live image has been posted by a tipster on Google+, which shows that the new arrival will feature a 5.2-inch full-HD display, instead of previously rumored 5.5-inch screen.

The new image is believed to be a prototype, which was given out to a tester in Brazil, ahead of launch. A warning is also mentioned below the device shown in the leaked image, which says, “Motorola confidential property: Not for sale.”

Moreover, the image also shows other specifications apart from the screen size, which includes a 2GHz octa-core processor, a 12-megapixel rapid focus camera, a fingerprint reader, a 3000mAh battery with Turbo Power technology for fast charging, NFC, and Motorola software experience.

Ronald Quandt of winfuture.de also indicates the availability of 5.2-inch display along with a DTV receiver. Furthermore, Quandt shared additional details about the upcoming GSM handset, which includes a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX 362 sensor with PDAF, 4K video at 30fps, and f/1.7 aperture. It is also supposed to pack 5-megapixel of front camera.

According to earlier rumors and leaks, the Moto G5 Plus Android smartphone is believed to come with a pixel density of 403 ppi and will be powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage. The Dual-SIM handset is also said to run Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The company is highly expected to launch the smartphone officially at its February 26 event at MWC 2017 in Barcelona.
