Moto G6 Plus Launched In India Features, Price and More

As expected, the Moto G6 Plus has been introduced by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer in India on 10th September 2018. The Moto G6 Plus unveils in India nearly after five months of global launch.

To recall, the Lenovo-owned Motorola globally had unveiled three smartphones in G6 series, dubbed as Moto G6, Moto G6 Play and Moto G6 Plus at an event in Brazil on 19th April. However, the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play had arrived in India in the month of June.

As per the global launch, the Moto G6 Plus features a larger display, faster processor and more storage or RAM as compared to other siblings. Before the official launch, Motorola has teased about the Moto G6 Plus could feature smart dual rear cameras\', \'low light photography\' and more.

Moto G6 Plus Google Lens, Spot Colour, Portrait Mode, Selective Black and White, Landmark Recognition, Face Unlock, 18:9 Max Vision Display, and TurboPower Charging are some of the highlighting features of Moto G6 Plus. 

Moto G6 Plus Price

In India, Moto G6 Plus has been priced at Rs 22,499 for single 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage configuration. It will be available for purchase from Amazon.in, Moto Hubs, and Motorola\'s offline retail channel stores from 10th September 2018 just after the official announcement. In India, the Moto G6 Plus comes only in Indigo Black color variant.

As a part of launch offers, the Paytm Mall customers will get a cashback Rs 3,000 on the purchase of Moto G6 Plus by using the Paytm Mall app. The Jio subscribers can avail cashback amounting Rs 2,200 on the prepaid recharges of Rs 198 and Rs 299.

Furthermore, the customers will get partner vouchers amounting Rs 1,250, from Cleartrip as well as Rs. 1,000 from Ajio.com.

Moto G6 Plus Specifications

The Moto G6 Plus features a 5.93-inch Full HD+ display which offers 18:9 aspect ratio and 1080x2160 pixels resolution. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Operating System which the company claims that Android Pie software update coming soon in the near future.

It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor which clocked at 2.2GHz. For storing content, the company offers 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage configuration. Further, the users can extend the storage capacity up to 128GB by using a microSD card.

In terms of optics, the Moto G6 Plus comes with dual rear cameras which consisting of 12MP primary sensor offering 78-degree lens and an aperture of f/1.7 and 5MP secondary sensors featuring 79-degree lens and an aperture of f/2.2. For selfies and video calling,

The smartphone gets 8MP selfie snapper having an 80-degree lens and an aperture of f/2.2 aperture. The rear camera set up comes with dual- tone LED flash and dual lens and also has a selfie flash on the front camera panel.

The Moto G6 Plus packs a 3,200mAh battery bundled with Motorola’s TurboPower adaptor. The company claims that it can be rated to deliver up to 7 hours of battery only on a charge of 15 minutes.

The Moto G6 Plus supports dual-SIM card slots, micro SD card, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer as connectivity options and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The fingerprint scanner is positioned under the Moto Logo on the rear side and also has a face unlock which enhances the security of the smartphone. It measures and weighs 159.9x75.5x7.99mm, and 165 grams respectively.

One must note that the Moto G6 Plus currently available in Indigo Black color option but expected that the company could unveil more color variants of G6 Plus in the coming months.
