Motorola planning to launch Moto X in India

After the recent and successful launch of low cost smartphone ‘Moto G’ in India, Motorola is planning to launch its new smartphone Moto X in country in coming few weeks. As company officials tweeted against a query about the India launch of Motorola's Flagship smartphone, the officials replied that "In next few weeks Moto X will launch in India and Australia". However, the company has neither announced the exact launch date for India and nor provided the pricing details of the Moto X for the Indian market.

According to the officials Moto Maker - the online tool that allows users to customize the new Moto X is not available at the time of launch. Moto - Maker is currently available in US and should be rolled out in Mexico and parts of Europe till the end of this year.

Moto Maker is online tool provided by the company to customize the user’s phone. It provide users to choose colour of the front panel from Black and White and while the back panel is provided in 18 different colours, the user can choose the Hue of the keys of the side and the camera rim. With the change in colour combination, user can also get a choice to change body material such as wooden back flip and according to the company there are 2000 colour combinations and build materials available for the phone.

If we talk about the features of the Moto X than it has a display of 4.7 inch with resolution of 720 X 1280 pixels. 1.7 GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm MSM8960Pro Snapdragon processor along with 2GB RAM is loaded in the phone. On the media side 16GB inbuilt memory is provided which is non-expandable. It is also featured with 10 Megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and also a 2 Megapixel front facing camera.

However, the smartphone comes with a unique always-on voice assistant that listens to the commands even if the user is not operating the handset. The camera of Moto X also features Clear Pixel technology that allows 75% more light to enter which produce better low lighting images. Earlier this month, Motorola reviled the Moto G in India. The Moto G is only available from the online retailer Flipkart.com, now it’s time for the launch of Moto X and it would be interesting to see that if the company continues the same strategy or not.
