MWC 2017: Nokia 3 Specifications, Pricing Leaked

HMD Global’s February 26 event is undoubtedly the most anticipated event going to be held at MWC 2017. The company is said to announce three new Nokia-branded Android smartphones including Nokia P1 flagship model, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3 smartphone. The biggest highlight of the upcoming event is the arrival of the refreshed version of the legendary Nokia 3310 handset, which was one of the sturdiest handsets ever built.

A website named Nokia Power User has leaked the specifications of the upcoming Nokia 3 smartphone, according to which, the upcoming budget-friendly Android smartphone will be blessed with a 5.2-inch HD display and run Android 7.0 Nougat OS. It will be powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 308 GPU. The handset will pack 16GB of inbuilt memory space, which can be expanded further via microSD card.

In term of optics, the Dual-SIM handset is supposed to pack a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfie enthusiasts. The latest reports also claims that the GSM smartphone will be available with a price tag of EUR 149 (Rs 10,500 approx). The report further added that the smartphone will make a way to major markets by March and April 2017.

On the other hand, the upcoming Nokia 5 is also highly expected to pack a 5.2-inch HD display along with 2GB of RAM and 12-megapixel of rear camera. The smartphone is also going to launch at MWC 2017 with a price tag of EUR 199 (Rs 14,000 approx). The iconic Nokia 3310 is also getting launched in a refreshed version in the event, along with the global launch of Nokia 6.
