It was not long back, when Lava introduced its Iris X1 Atom S, which was a tough competition for some of the high end smartphones. Lava lists another handset named Lava Flair E1, which is an entry level device with a lesser specification and lesser price in its website. The cost of the new handset has been set to Rs. 2,749, which is in budget of any user who wishes to use a smartphone but was not able to fulfill his desire due to high price-tags of the devices.
Although, the new Lava Flair E1 is now added in the list of Flair series on company's website but, there are no announcement about the availability of the device. By the time Lava announces the launch of new handset, let's have a look on the specifications of this new comer.
Small price-tag of Rs. 2,749 for this device does not mean that the smartphone is not up to the mark. Lava's new instrument runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and is a dual-SIM phone (GSM+GSM). The handset has a 3.2 inch HVGA TFT display with resolution of 320 X 480 pixels. The processor is a single core processor along with 256 MB of RAM. The mobile phone has an inbuilt storage of 512MB which can be expanded up-to 32 GB using microSD card.
Primary camera of the handset is of 2 mega-pixel along with LED flash, a front camera is also provided by the cellphone which is of 0.3 mega-pixels. If we talk about the connectivity, Lava Flair E1 supports EDGE, Wi-fi, Bluetooth and micro USB features. However, the smartphone is not compatible with 3G connectivity. The handset is powered by a 1,300 mAh battery, which gives a talktime of 3 hours and 150 hours of Standby time. Customers can avail this handset in Black-Gold and White-Gold colour variant.
