The Motorola has unveiled its new flagship smartphone Moto X. There were rumors about the name of the phone that it will be called as the Motorola Moto X-2 or something related to that, but the brand has not changed it and it will be called with the same name in the future. The newer one will be more robust, strong and bigger than the current version. Their no word over the discontinuation of the current model, but the newer one will definitely arrive in style. It will also boast some great features in overall terms as the Google undertaking firm has taken this product very seriously, to maintain the brand image in the industry.
The new Moto X will be bigger in all respects. It will house a 5.2 inch screen blessed with AMOLED and Corning Gorilla Glass. Both of these technologies together make out things happening. The fun of viewing the visuals over the screen will be enhanced with the 1080 full HD resolution, which has been replaced over the last generation’s 720 pixel. The wider platform of the display has covered the whole front surface making it easy to maneuver from corner to corner of the same. Motorola’s new strategy for the front look in their devices was first seen in the Moto E, which had an earpiece grill and a similar object at the bottom end as a matter of maintaining the proportions. The Moto G 2 has also been designed with the same looks and so is the case with Moto X. It is just 9.9 mm thick and weighs just 144 grams.
The color options available for the device have been increased to a huge amount with an addition of rear leather panel and metal bezel surrounding the gadget. User can choose from a wide range of colors as per their personality and the earlier shades including the wooden texture are also their on the charts to match the taste of older one’s fans. The LED flash has been ingeniously fitted in a circular or ring shape surrounding the snapper.
This snapper has also been lifted up from 10 megapixel current stock to 13 megapixels with 4X zoom. The best part of the camera is the 4K resolution videography can be obtained instead of just full HD 1080 as the earlier one. The new stuff to this camera is the Best Shot feature, which keeps the track of shots before and after the click to make out a perfect picture with negligible moiré and disturbance. The process gets executed automatically and user receives a great photo at the end. The Highlight Reel function of the Moto X combines all the photographs and videos of that particular day in a collage format.
The build quality of the new device is as solid as the earlier one and the designers have boosted that up with a new look keeping the design decorum intact. The core unit handling the system is a 2.5GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor along with the bigger 578MHz Adreno 330 GPU. This unit will be assisted with 2GB of RAM and 2300mAh battery to handle the efforts of processors. There will be 16GB and 32GB version of the alleged model which will be only water resistant and not the water proof. The voice commands will be supported with some sort of restrictions as a part of Google now. Additionally attached applications from Motorola will include Moto Display, Moto Actions and Moto Assist. The cost of the same will be reaching the mark of around $500.
