Nokia 2.1 Plus Surfaced With 1GB RAM and 16GB Storage

Nokia, Finnish smartphone manufacturer is planning to introduce a new smartphone, called with Nokia 2.1 Plus in the coming weeks which will be the successor of Nokia 2.1

The successor of Nokia 2.1 has been recently surfaced on FCC certification site with model number TA-1136 which is likely to be dubbed as Nokia 2.1 Plus. The FCC certification website has revealed some of the key specifications of the upcoming smartphone. The Plus word signifies that the Nokia 2.1 Plus could come with improved specifications and a larger display.

Nokia 2.1 Plus Expected Specifications

The FCC certification site reveals that the rumored Nokia 2.1 Plus is likely to come with a 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The connectivity option on the Nokia 2.1 Plus will 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. 

The FCC listing has not revealed anything about the price, availability and launch date of the upcoming device. It is being speculated that the HMD Global would unveil the Nokia 2.1 Plus in the coming weeks under the price tag of Rs 10,000.

One must note that the aforementioned information is based on the leaks and rumors, however, the actual specifications will be unveiled by Nokia at an official launch event.

Nokia 2.1 Specifications

To recall, the Nokia 2.1 was launched with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage which is retailing at Rs 6,459 in India. The Nokia 2.1 has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD screen panel which offers the screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC. The smartphone comes with dual SIM card slot with the support of 4G LTE and VoLTE.

In terms of optics, the Nokia 2.1 features a single 8MP rear camera and 5MP selfie snapper which has the capability to record video at 1080 pixels. On the software front, it runs on Google-owned Android 8.1 Oreo Go programme.

The Nokia 2.1 is armed with a larger 4000 mAh Li-ion battery which can be charged through a USB port. The company claims that in a single charge the phone can run up to 2 days and charge the 100 percent battery of the device in less than 3 hours.
