Nokia 3,5,6 Expected to be Launched on June 13 in India

After introducing its Nokia 3310 feature phone in India last month, it looks like The parenting company HMD Global doesn’t want to delay the launching of the most awaited Nokia 3,5, and 6 Android smartphones in the country. The company on Friday has started rolling out press invites for a Nokia event, which is going to be held on June 13 in India. Looking at all the currently available information, we can expect the launching of company’s 2017 smartphone lineup in the country.

Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6 smartphones have already made their debut at MWC 2017 in Barcelona earlier this year. As a recall, the new Nokia 6 Android smartphone is blessed with a 5.5-inch full-HD screen along with 2.5D design, Gorilla Glass protection, and a fingerprint sensor housed at the bottom chin of it. It is powered by a Snapdragon 430 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt memory space, which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.

Nokia 6

The Dual-SIM smartphone is backed up by a 3000mAh battery and runs the latest Android 7.0 Nougat. In term of optics, it packs a 16-megapixel rear sensor along with an 8-megapixel front sensor for shooting selfies. Additionally, the company has also introduced a Nokia 6 Arte Black special edition model, which comes with a glossy black design, 64GB built-in storage, and 4GB RAM. The basic edition model was introduced with a price tag of EUR 229 (Rs. 16,000 approx).

Nokia 5

Coming next to Nokia 5, which is positioned as a handset for those who want a compact smartphone. The GSM smartphone features a 5.2-inch HD screen and runs the latest Android 7.1.1 OS. It is powered by the Snapdragon 430 SoC paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt memory space, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. In term of optics, Nokia 5 packs a 13-megapixel sensor at the rear and an 8-megapixel sensor at the front end for shooting selfies. Additional features of the handset include Micro-USB 2.0, NFC, 3000mAh battery, a fingerprint scanner, and 4G LTE support. It was previously introduced with a price tag of EUR 189 (Rs. 13,250 approx) by the company.

Nokia 3

Last in the list is the youngest Nokia 3, which was introduced for the people who want a premium-looking handset at a budget price. The handset is blessed with a polycarbonate body and metallic frame on both sides, still, it lacks the availability of a fingerprint sensor. It packs a 5-inch HD screen and runs the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6737 SoC coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of inbuilt memory space, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. It is backed up by a 2650mAh battery and packs 8-megapixel shooters at both front and rear side. Nokia 3 was launched with a price tag of EUR 139 (about Rs. 9,750) by the company.

Interestingly, HMD Global, the parenting company has also made it clear that all the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6 smartphones will be upgraded to Android O after getting it available.
