Nokia 8, the flagship Nokia android mobile is all set to be launched in India on 16th August. The HMD global, company responsible for distribution of Nokia handsets, has reportedly started sending out launch invites for the same. As per the previous rumors, this Nokia mobile is expected to come with dual-rear camera setup, which was recently leaked in the live images over the Internet. The Nokia 8 launch event will put to rest all these speculations about the Nokia 8, which has been in the air for several weeks. It's worth noting that the HMD Global has joined hands with the Zeiss, and the Nokia 8 might be the first mobile to feature Carl Zeiss branding as well.
The earlier reports from a German website named ‘WinFuture’, had claimed that the HMD Global will launch its new flagship as Nokia 8 on July 31 in the country. The early rumors in the market have also highlighted that the company is working on two new high-end smartphones named as Nokia 8 and Nokia 9, both of which will be launched in the second half of 2017. As of now, there are not any kind of leaks or reports came to light regarding Nokia 9, but the recent leak hints at the arrival of new Nokia 8 flagship smartphone in India.

The report further details that the handset will come with a model number TA-1004, and will be focusing to target the flagship smartphones of other companies such as Apple, Samsung, Google, or any other. In term of specifications, the GSM handset is said to be powered by the Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64-GB inbuilt memory space. Moreover, according to the reports, the new smartphone is expected to be available in two variants including a Dual-SIM smartphone variant and a Single-SIM smartphone variant.
Furthermore, the report adds that the Nokia 8 is believed to arrive with a price tag of EUR 589 (Rs 44,000 approx). The price is reportedly for the European markets, whereas other countries around the world are believed to get the handset at a cheaper price. As of now, there is no confirmation of the handset, that whether it will be made available in India or not. But, looking at the past relation of Indian people with Nokia and the arrival of new Nokia Android smartphones in India increases the probability, hence, HMD Global may launch its flagship smartphone in the country.

The Nokia 8 has already been subjected to many leaks and rumors in the smartphone market. According to the previous leaks and rumors, the upcoming smartphone is believed to be blessed with a 5.7-inch 2K display and will be seen running the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. In term of optics, the handset is expected to pack a dual rear camera set up, which will be including two 13-megapixel sensors coupled with a dual LED flash.
From the three recently launched Nokia Android smartphones, the Nokia 3 has been made available in India and is receiving an overwhelming response in Indian smartphone market. Moreover, the company has also started pre-bookings of its Nokia 6 smartphone exclusively via Amazon, whose sale is going to start from August 23 onwards. Apart from this, HMD Global has not revealed any word on the availability of its Nokia 5 smartphone, but keeping the rumors and leaks in mind, the handset might arrive sometime around mid-August in the Indian market.
