World is touring around the budget smartphones with all smart and technologically strong electronic gadgets. To meet with the expectations of today's customers which are enough smart to buy a smartphone that covers all the smart features with pocket friendly nature. Android came and blessed customers with the boon of budget smartphones which is now offering by all renowned companies like Samsung, HTC, Sony etc.
The growing market of Android phone has also pulled other smartphone makers into the Android market. One of the most popular names which made entry in the Android market is Nokia. The brand is famous for presenting its high-end devices which run on Windows Phone operating system. But the Android market has forced the company to introduce devices with Android platform. The first offering is Nokia X which thunders the market of high-end devices with budget appearance and smart features. Now the company has brought Nokia XL in the segment of its Android based devices in the X series with dual SIM support.
The device is nice with specifications it offered, with a price tag of Rs. 11,489. The device is now available on Nokia's official eStore to buy. When we talk about the features of the handset then, it may compete with the Motorola's newly launched and legendary device MOTO E which is priced at Rs. 6,999 only that is quite attractive offering of the company at low price than Nokia XL.
Its predecessor was launched last month and the Nokia X+ is expected to arrive in the market soon. The biggest point is that, we are comparing two devices of different price tags that sounds weird but the specs of the Nokia XL forces us to compare both devices which fall under different price range.
Smartphone Screen with Resolution - When talking about the display, Nokia XL is blessed with 5 inch display which is quite bigger than Moto E that gets 4.3 inch display with the resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. The resolution being offered by the legendary phone is more impressive and good compared to Nokia XL's resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. If you are not a brand freak and want a device that offers quality output then, you can go for Moto E which offers 256 ppi pixel density.
Performance - Nokia XL's Snapdragon S4 Play dual-core processor and Moto E's Snapdragon 200 dual-core processor both work well and don't need any comparison as both have good processor to power the device but both are clocked at 1GHz and 1.2GHz CPU frequency respectively to enhance the performance. It perfectly shows that Moto E performs well than Nokia XL. Going to the gaming section, Aderno 302 GPU is best to present good graphics than Adreno 203 GPU of Moto E. 768MB of RAM disappoints Nokia lovers while the Moto E is crafted with 1GB RAM that adds more functionality to the device, to run several applications simultaneously. Both have 4GB of internal storage and can be expandable upto 32GB.
Imaging Device - Nokia XL is paired with 5MP rear snapper with LED Flash and 2MP front camera adds the more light to the device while Moto E disappoints on the imaging section with no Flash and front camera. Nokia is always a king in the imaging section because of its carl zeiss lens and leaves away all other devices far from its camera section.
Battery and the Software - Nokia XL is fueled by 2000mAH battery while Moto E is backed by 1980mAh non-removable battery. Both have good battery backup and perfectly fit with their price tag. When we keep the price of both devices in mind then, Moto E does a good work. On the software front, Nokia XL runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean but takes the UI from its Windows phone (namely Nokia X 1.0 UI). The UI is very impressive because of its Windows phone nature and the addition of Google Play adds more advantage to the device. On the other side, Moto E operates on latest Android platform (Android 4.4.2 KitKat) which is the miraculous nature and advantage of the device and makes it the king by presenting latest Android version in the budget price.
Both are blessed with same connectivity features which include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPRS, EDGE and microUSB 2.0 support except Bluetooth. As, Nokia XL has Bluetooth 3.0 while Bluetooth 4.0 is used in Moto E. Both are pretty good individually but when compared with each other then, Moto E leaves a good impact on the customers with almost similar specs and features that falls in the less price than Nokia XL.
