OnePlus is creating own custom build for India after CM's Ignorance

OnePlus One smartphone is almost on the way of India and a bad news has just spread over Web to give you a jolt. As the device comes with CM (CyanogenMod) custom build, but Cyanogen deal in India with Micromax has made this impossible to bring any updates and future smartphones with the same custom build. According to deal, the custom UI will be offering with only Micromax’s Yu devices.

Apparently, any OnePlus devices which will be selling in India, won’t receive any CyanogenMod updates. It’s quite disappointing and may affect the sale of its first handset in India. Eventually, the tech giant has folded up the sleeve and then decided to develop its own custom build for India. It is expected that it will make debut in country in February 2015.

It is said that the OnePlus’ own custom build wil be based on Android 5.0 Lollipop, while the CyanogenMod 11s is based on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. The OnePlus One is scheduled to launch on December 2 in India via Invites. On the other side, the Company is offering the handset in Black Friday Sale without any invite system. However, India has ditched from this sale.

The handset has two storage variants- 16GB Silk White and 64GB Sandstone Black. No detail is available regarding the India price of this smartphone, but we expect that it will grab around Rs. 25,000 from customers’ wallet.
