OnePlus One to soon get Android Lollipop Update

Everyone is very well aware from the Cynogen’s deal with OnePlus and Micromax. It is already clear that OnePlus cannot bring any Cyanogen update for it devices in India. So, hard luck for Indian OnePlus One users as the company is planning to roll out the Android Lollipop based CM12 update for its One devices.

According to AndroidCentral report, this would be the first stable Lollipop version of CM12. Currently the handset runs on CM11 which is based on Android KitKat. It’s been a while launching the Android Lolipop, but still very few device support it. OnePlus has taken the initiative to bring it on its device. It is said that the tech giant will begin rolling out such update next month. However, there is no information whether India could find it or not as per the Cyanogen’s deal with Micromax for exclusivity. It is also reported earlier that the tech firm is bringing own custom build for India to overcome this issue regarding updates.

The OnePlus One is a very amazing handset with almost all high-end and alluring features. This smartphone is being sold out in India through Amazon India exclusively. Only 64GB model is available to buy in country at Rs. 21,999. The phone has 5.5 inch full-HD display and comes protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Other specifications include quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB RAM, 3100mAh battery, 13 MP rear camera, and 5MP front camera.

Earlier, the Company in India faced some problem because of the exclusive rights and all. However, that was later sorted out and the tech giant had allowed to sale its devices in India after a temporary injunction.
