Oppo Launches the R17 Pro King of Glory Edition in China

Oppo R17 Pro, a flagship model from smartphone manufacturer has witnessed the arrival of a new limited edition of the same, named as the King of Glory in China. The company has opened pre-bookings for this new variant at its official portal. The King of Glory Edition is totally different from other special edition models available in mobile industry, not only at skin but also inside. It comes with a special King of Glory theme and the game pre-installed as well.

Pricing:

The Oppo R17 Pro King of Glory Edition is developed after a joint venture between Tencent Games and Oppo. It is available only in a single variant of 8GB/128GB. Apparently, the smartphone which gets the King of Glory on its back resembles to the Emerald Green version. The pricing for this new variant kept similar to the regular variant at RMB 4,299 (around Rs 44,000).

Specifications:

In terms of specifications, the King of Glory Edition is all identical to the regular Pro 17 variant. The display is a 6.4-inch AMOLED unit with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Also, there is a water drop notch at the top smartphone as like the OnePlus 6T and a fingerprint sensor embedded under the display. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC coupled with Adreno 616 GPU powers the mobile. It uses a the primary memory of 8GB RAM and the secondary storage of 128GB.

At the camera front, the special edition model gets a rear placed triple camera setup. Including a 12-megapixel main sensor with variable aperture of f/1.5 and f/2.4, optical image stabilization and dual pixel autofocus as well. It is supported by a 20-megapixel secondary shooter with f/2.6 aperture and a third time-of-flight 3D camera. For shooting selfies, the company studded a 25-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and beauty mode in the mid top of the screen. The smartphone operates on a ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo while the device backed by a 3,700mAh battery. To charge up the battery the Oppo R17 Pro uses its 50W power adapter for fast charging.
