As expected, the Realme 1 is finally launched in India today (15th May) which is being offered by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer company and it is the first smartphone in the Realme branding. With the emergence of the new brand, the Chinese company is targeting the ‘Youth’ who prefer to purchase items online. However, the Oppo Realme 1 will be available for purchase exclusively at Amazon India. Likewise other Oppo smartphones, the Realme 1 has launched with the selfie-focused camera along with AI features and stickers.
The Oppo Realme 1 comes with 'glossy diamond-cut design’ which we have also seen on Oppo F7 and Oppo A3. The company stated that our main aim is to deliver only mid-range smartphones in the price bracket of Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 and premium smartphone is expected to unveil in the coming future.
A few days ago Oppo the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has launched the Realme 1 in India is now goes on sale exclusively at Amazon which is to be scheduled at 12:00 PM 1st June 2018 (today). Currently, the two storage variants, 6GB RAM+128GB internal storage and 3GB RAM+32GB internal are listed at Amazon which has been priced at Rs 13,990 and Rs 8,990 respectively. It is anticipated that the company would soon launch the 4GB of RAM +64GB internal storage.

Currently, the company has launched the Realme 1 in two storage variants, 3GB RAM/ 32GB and 6GB RAM/128GB internal storage. The company has launched the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant available at a price of Rs 10,990 in solar red color variant.The company has launched the smartphone Diamond Black and Solar Red color options. The Moonlight Silver Color variant will be available for purchase in the coming month most probably in June.
At the price point, the Realme 1 will face stiff competition from Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro which is priced at Rs. 14,999 for 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant, whereas 6GB RAM,/64GB storage variant comes with a price tag of Rs 16,999.
Amazon, the e-commerce website has also listed launch offers in its platform which we have mentioned below. As a part of launch offers, the Chinese company has partnered with SBI to provide 5 percent cash back on Oppo Realme 1. The Reliance Jio is offering a cashback offer of up to Rs 4,850 on the purchase of Realme 1 which will be applicable after making prepaid recharges of Rs 198 and Rs 299.
Additionally, Amazon is also providing other enticing offers such as No- Cost EMI up to 6 months, Free Case and Screen Protector and 80 percent (maximum discount of Rs 300 ) on the purchase of first Kindle ebook.
The Oppo Realme 1 features a 6-inch full-HD+ bezel-less display with the screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo Operating System based on ColorOS 5.0 The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 SoC which is clocked at 2GHz.
The company is currently offering the smartphone in two storage variants 3GB/ 6GB RAM coupled with 32GB/ 128GB internal storage. The company is planning to add another variant by launching 4GB RAM and 64GB storage in the near future.
The Realme sport a 13-megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and LED flash. For the selfie snapper, the smartphone has an 8-megapixel front- facing camera along with bokeh mode. The camera UI is bundled with AI Beauty 2.0 features and the company claims that AI Beauty feature is capable enough to detect 296 facial points.
The smartphone is equipped with AI stickers which can be accessed with the front and rear camera. The Oppo Realme 1 comes with Facial Recognition feature which unlocks the smartphone in just 0.1 seconds, but fingerprint sensor is missing on the smartphone.
In terms of connectivity, the Realme 1 has Bluetooth, micro USB, Wi-Fi and GPS and 4G VoLTE. Under the hood, it is powered by 3410 mAh battery. In terms of dimensions, it measures 156x75.3x7.8mm and the weight of the smartphone is 158 grams.
After a month, Vivo has launched the Realme 1 Moonlight Silver Limited Edition in India and it will go on sale from 18th June which will be exclusively available at Amazon India similar to regular Realme 1. As the name suggests limited edition, Realme Silver Variant will be available in the limited number of quantities so don’t miss the chance and grasp the chances as soon as possible.
At the official event, the Chinese company Vivo launched the Oppo Realme 1 in two color options Diamond Black and Solar Red. After the launch of Silver Limited Edition variant, Realme 1 will be available in three color options: Moonlight Silver, Diamond Black, and Solar Red. The Silver Limited Edition of Realme 1 will be equipped with 64GB internal storage, 4GB of RAM which has been priced at Rs 10,990.
