Panasonic, the Japanese smartphone manufacturer has launched two new smartphones in India, called with Eluga X1 and Eluga X1 Pro. Both these Panasonic smartphones have been developed with the stainless body for durability.
These smartphones have a 2.5D curved glass on the front which protects the gadget from damages and scratches. Both Eluga X1 and Eluga X1 Pro have been preloaded with features like Bokeh mode, Face Emoji, and Face Beauty to enhance the photography experience.
The newly launched Panasonic smartphones come with an “Arbo Hub” app that can be worked as the AI-based app and allows users to access multiple apps and services like Uber, Ola, Newspoint, MobiKwik, Cricket and more. The Panasonic Eluga X1 Pro supports wireless charging.
In India, Panasonic Eluga X1 comes with a price tag of Rs 22,990 for single 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage configuration. On another hand, Panasonic Eluga X1 Pro has been priced at Rs. 26,990 for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.
The deliveries of both Panasonic smartphones start from October 10 at all major retail outlets including Flipkart. The Eluga X1 has been bundled with a set of Panasonic headphones whereas the Eluga X1 Pro comes with a wireless charger.
These smartphones made available in two colors including Silver and Dark Grey.
Panasonic Eluga X1 and Eluga X1 Pro are identical to each other in terms of specifications excluding RAM and storage.
Both Panasonic Eluga X1 and Eluga X1 have a 6.18-inch full-HD+ notch display which offers the screen resolution of 1080x2246 pixels. On the top, it is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Both run on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box, Both are powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 SoC bundled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU.
The Eluga X1 has been bundled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage that can be further extended up to 128GB by using a microSD card. On another hand, the Eluga X1 Pro gets 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage that can be extended up to 256GB by using via microSD card.
Both, Eluga X1 and Eluga X1 Pro pack 16MP+5MP dual cameras on the rear panel accompanied by an LED flash. A circularly shaped fingerprint scanner is positioned on the rear panel which is followed by a Panasonic brand.
For selfies and video calling, the smartphones have 16MP selfie snapper. Furthermore, the rear camera set up offers features like Face Beauty mode, Bokeh effect, Live photos, Backlight effect, Timelapse, Professional mode, and Group Selfie mode.
Panasonic, the Japanese tech giant has offered a proprietary function, dubbed AI Sense which the company claims the users can unlock the smartphone by facial expressions in less than a half second. AI Sense Technology also worked during low- light conditions, claims company.
Eluga X1 and Eluga X1 Pro support 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, dual- sim (Nano), microSD card and USB Type-C. A 3.5mm headphone jack is missing on the new Eluga devices.
The smartphone has an ambient light sensor, accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, hall sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. The newly launched Panasonic Eluga smartphones have been equipped with 3000mAh battery and measures 155x75.5x7.85mm.
