The veteran player in smartphone manufacturing, Panasonic has brought one more device to expand its range of Eluga handsets. A new mid-range device has taken birth in the Eluga family and got the name Eluga Z. Company has tagged the handset with a price tag of Rs. 13,490.
As per today’s demand, Panasonic did lots of work on its profile and made it 6.85mm sleek and gave it weigh of 120grams. This handset gives a premium feel with its metal framing. On the other side, back panel looks so elegant with fabric texture.
Innards of Panasonic Eluga Z say for its supremacy. A 5-inch Oncell AMOLED display with capability of providing HD (720X1080p) screen resolution is just outstanding for a mid-range device. Coloring this device in champagne gold, ivory white and midnight blue, company has given this handset astounding look which gives a luxury touch to the device.
Panasonic Eluga Z is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core processor which is based on 64bit CPU architecture, no detail available for its chipset. However, 2GB RAN is there to compliment the smartphone with smooth multitasking. Its 16GB built-in space is enough to store huge amount of data which can be expanded upto 32GB using microSD card.
On software front, disappointingly, it takes the support from Android 4.4 KitKat which has become old-fashioned as several smartphones in budget range are currently offering the best Android experience with Android 5.0 Lollipop support. However, the company has given it the flavor of Fit Home UI.
Now, move to camera module which is incredible with 13MP rear shooter and 5MP front camera. Another disappointing factor is the lack of 4G LTE connectivity which is also offering by almost every handset under this price range. Because of these two factors, this Panasonic handset may face problems in luring customer’s heart. Customers also hesitate to grab the money out to buy this handset while market has array of devices with more advanced features in the same price bracket.
