Panasonic, the Japanese multinational electronics corporation has expanded its line up by launching two new smartphones, dubbed as Eluga Z1 and Eluga Z1 Pro in the Indian market. Both the Eluga Z1 and Eluga Z1 Pro shares similar specifications, design but the major difference lies in RAM and storage in both gadgets. Both smartphones have been equipped with Microsoft's Swift Keyboard which allows users to type five Indian languages even without changing the settings. It also supports as many as 30 Indian languages along with word correction and prediction features, claims company.
The recently launched Eluga Z1 and Eluga Z1 Pro come with the company owned Arbo Hub, an AI-based application platform.
In India, the Panasonic Eluga Z1 costs Rs 14,490 for single 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. On another hand, the Eluga Z1 Pro comes with a price tag of Rs. 17,490 for 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. These smartphones will be available for purchase from October 31 across India exclusively at offline retail stores.
Both Eluga Z1 and Eluga Z1 Pro have a 6.19-inch HD+ display which offers the screen resolution of 720x1500 pixels. Both run on Android 8.1 Oreo Operating System layered which based on the company's skin atop.
These smartphones have been equipped with octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. The Eluga Z1 gets 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. On another hand, the Eluga Z1 Pro comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The microSD card has the capacity to support up to 128GB data.
For photography, the Panasonic Eluga Z1 and Eluga Z1 Pro have the same set of camera specifications on the rear and front panel. These smartphones have a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor on the rear panel along with real-time Bokeh effects. The Eluga Z1 and Eluga Z1 Pro have 8MP selfie snapper. An LED flash is also available in the front panel on both smartphones. The camera app is preloaded with AI-powered features such as time-lapse, slow motion, beauty mode, backlight, live photos, group selfie, and digital avatars.
The connectivity options on the Eluga Z1 and Eluga Z1 Pro include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio with RDS, and Micro-USB with OTG functionality. The smartphones have an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. A fingerprint scanner is positioned on the rear panel of Eluga Z1 and Eluga Z1 Pro. The dimensions of both smartphones are 157.2x76.25x8.05mm, though the company has not revealed the weight of both devices.
