Reach Opulent Launched for INR 3,599

Reach Mobile has unveiled another budget-friendly Android smartphone in India, dubbed as Reach Opulent. The smartphone as of now is available for purchase only via Shopclues website and that too for a nominal rate i.e., INR 3,599 which indeed would cater to the needs of a large audience especially the ones who are constantly on the look out of a cheaper smartphone for their daily needs. As per the reports, the cell phone will come in four color variants namely Black, Orange, Red, and White.

It must be noted that at this price cut, this low budget GSM smartphone would likely compete with the Xolo One HD that is nearly available for INR 5,000 and sports an HD display. Commenting on the launch, Anis Rahman, Vice President, Reach Mobile said, "Thanks to our association with ShopClues, our exclusive launch of 'Cogent' on its platform was a tremendous hit. We are certain that 'Opulent' too will find a ready market as it offers a superb performance as well as appealing aesthetics. Talking about the specifications of the smartphone, we observe that Reach Opulent sports a 5-inch HD display that gives a resolution of 720x1280 pixel which indeed can be considered as the highlighting factor for this smartphone. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 144x73.1x9.1mm, and is further supported by a 2500mAh battery that as per company claims that give up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 200 hours of standby time.

The new Reach Opulent is a Dual-SIM variant that operates on Android operating system (Lollipop v5.1) and is fueled by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor. It comes with 1GB of RAM and offers 8GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable up to 32GB using external microSD card. In terms of camera specs, it dons a 5-megapixel back camera with an LED streak coupled with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Last but not the least, the handset includes GPRS/EDGE, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB as a part of the standard connectivity options.

Not just this, the company Reach Mobile showcased another budget-friendly smartphone just last month called the Reach Cogent with a price tag of INR 2,999. The smartphone was also a Dual-SIM variant that featured Android Lollipop v5.1 out-of-the-box.
