The Chinese Company Realme offered two new Variants to its Indian customers, viz. the Realme C1 (2019) 2GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant and the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant. The Realme C1 base variant was introduced in India with 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage configuration and priced at Rs. 7,599. The smartphone carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC and a 4,230mAh battery.
Realme C1 (2019) variants have been brought into competition with Samsung Galaxy M series which is about to arrive in the world market with its Galaxy M10 which would be a Budget-friendly model with specifically good features in low price.
In India, the Realme C1 (2019) is priced at Rs. 7,499 for the 2GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant, while the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant would be retailed at Rs. 8,499. Flipkart is the retailer for both the new Realme C1 variants in India. The set would be available for purchase from 12 noon on February 5. The phones would be offered in two colour variants: Deep Black and Ocean Blue colour.
The News is also there that Realme has plans to sell the new Realme C1 (2019) models through offline retail stores. But, till now no concrete schedule has been specified for the offline sale. Looking back, the Realme C1 was first launched in India in September last year priced at Rs. 6,999.
As the original Realme C1 model, Realme C1 (2019) Edition has artificial intelligence (AI) powered the dual rear camera with a software algorithm which assists in enhancing the images. The new set comprises of an all-new RAM and storage options. Rest all the features of the Realme C1 (2019) Edition is identical to the original Realme C1 model which got launched last year. Talking more about the optics section, there is an AI-backed selfie camera, aided to recognise 296 points. There are two unlocking options firstly, the facial unlock and secondly, a SmartLock feature. It comes pre-loaded with power saving features viz. dubbed App-freezing Power Saver and Quick App Freezing.
Realme C1 is a dual-SIM system based on Android 8.1 Oreo with Color OS 5.1 skin and features a 6.2-inch HD+ (720x1520 pixels) display which is capable of delivering 360 nits of brightness and has a Corning Gorilla Glass panel. It comes with a display notch and the screen has an aspect ratio of 19:9 and an 88.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. It comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC and is coupled with up to 3GB of RAM and Adreno 406 GPU under the hood.
The onboard storage for the new Realme C1 is of 32GB and is expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB). As discussed earlier, the Realme C1 has a dual rear camera setup which includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor having an LED flash. For the selfie lovers, there is a 5-megapixel sensor placed at the front. The set comes preloaded with a portrait mode, PDAF, and an Intelligent AI Beauty feature.
For connectivity, the Realme C1 offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Besides, the smartphone is powered by a 4,230mAh battery and the set measures 75.6x156.2x8.2mm. The Sensors attached includes an accelerometer, ambient light, G-sensor, M-sensor, and pedometer.
