Reliance Jio Launched Flame 7 and Wind 7 With VoLTE Support

India-based Reliance Retail has launched two new smartphones in India under its brand Lyf. The smartphones are named as Flame 7 and Wind 7. Both of the smartphones are listed on the company's official website with pricing details. The Lyf Flame 7 is priced at Rs 3,499 and Wind 7 is priced at Rs 6,999 respectively. It is expected that the smartphones will be available soon via offline stores such as Reliance Digital and Digital Xpress.

As like the other smartphones of Lyf series, the Lyf Flame 7 and Wind 7 bolsters a 4G LTE bands in India- FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz) and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz). Both the handset supports VoLTE with HD voice calling compatibility.

In terms of specifications, the dual SIM (regular SIM + Micro-SIM) based Lyf Flame 7 flaunts a 4-inch WVGA IPS LCD display with Asahi Dragontrail Glass. It offers a pixel density of 218ppi. On the software end, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box. The Flame 7 smartphone supports 4G on one SIM at a time. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9830A processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.

For the storage, it is blessed with 8GB onboard storage, that is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot expansion. For the photography, it is loaded with a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel fixed focus front facing camera.

For the connectivity, the Flame 7 includes GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB apart from 4G (LTE Cat 4 support). Dimensionally, it is measuring a 126*64*10.8mm and weighs 113 grams. It is backed by a 1750mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 4.5 hours of talk time and up to 175 hours of standby time.

The dual SIM supporting Lyf Wind 7 features a 5-inch HD IPS LCD display having a resolution of 720*1280 pixels. It offers a pixel density of 294ppi. The device runs on Android 5.1 based Lollipop operating system out of the box. The company says that both the SIM slots are 4G enabled.

As for the power, it is fueled by a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor clubbed with 2GB of RAM. For the storage, it bears a 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot expansion. The Android-based smartphone is loaded with an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash along with a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The camera is featuring a face detection and smile detection modes.

The GSM-based smartphone includes GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB, apart from 4G (LTE Cat. 4)connectivity options. It is measuring a 143.5*72*8.7mm and weighs 156 grams. The handset is backed by a 2250mAh battery, that claims to deliver up to 9 hours of talk time and up to 180 hours of standby time on 4G network.

The Lyf Wind 7 will be available in Black, Blue, and White color variants.
