Reliance Lyf brand has launched two new smartphones in the Indian market, the Wind 1 and Water 7. Both the smartphones are now listed on the company official site with pricing details. The Lyf Wind 1 has been priced at Rs. 6,899 while the Lyf Water 7 is priced at Rs. 12,999. One can expect the handsets to be soon available via offline stores such as Reliance Digital and Digital Xpress. Much like other Lyf-branded smartphones, the Lyf Wind 1 and Water 7 mobiles support 4G LTE along with HD voice call compatibility.
The dual-SIM handset Lyf Wind 1 has a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS LCD display with 294ppi pixel density. The device operates on Android 5.1 Lollipop that supports 4G on one SIM at a time. The smartphone has been powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. On the camera front, it sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. The smartphone supports expandable storage via microSD card up to 64GB and the connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB apart from 4G LTE. The Lyf Wind 1 has been backed by a 2300mAh battery, that is rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 460 hours of standby time and it measures 143x71x8.4mm and weighs 125 grams.

The other handset that is launched is the dual-SIM supporting Lyf Water 7 smartphone that features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 400ppi and operates Android 5.1 Lollipop. On of the biggest highlight of the Lyf Water 7 is that it packs a fingerprint scanner on the backside of the gadget.
As per the company both SIM slots are 4G enabled; though, at one time only one SIM can use 4G while the other will work on 2G. The handset has been powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm SnapdragonTM 615 (MSM8939) processor along with 2GB of RAM. This mobile handset packs 16GB of internal storage and that can be further expanded by microSD card (up to 128GB). The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The camera features on the Lyf Water 7 incorporates face detection, and smile detection modes. On the connectivity, the device includes GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB along with 4G LTE. This latest 4G smartphone packs a 3000mAh battery that is expected to deliver up to 14 hours of talk time and up to 150 hours of standby time on 4G network. Lyf Water 7 has been made available in Gold and Silver color variants that measure 155.3x77.2x8.5mm and weighs 160 grams.
