Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) and Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) Launched

Samsung, the South- Korean giant has silently launched two budget- segment smartphones Galaxy J3 2018 and Galaxy J7 (2018) as the successors of Galaxy J3 (2017) and Galaxy J7 (2017) that were launched in June in the previous year. The official teaser suggested that both of the smartphones would be available in an affordable price, as the company has not officially revealed the complete specifications, price, and availability of 2018 edition of Galaxy J- series. It seems that the Galaxy J3 (2018) and the Galaxy J7 (2018) will be arriving in the US in the coming days via select retail stores and channel partners in the US in the coming days.

Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) features a 5-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. As of now, we don’t the RAM and storage capacity of mid-range Galaxy J3 (2018). The company claims that new Samsung Galaxy J3 could feature a “long-lasting” battery.

In terms of optics, the 2018 edition of Galaxy J3 sport an 8-megapixel rear camera with an aperture of f/1.9 and an LED flash. At the front, the smartphone gets a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with an aperture of f/2.2.

Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) Specifications

On another hand, Galaxy J7 (2018) features a 5.5-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. In terms of optics, the smartphone packs a 13-megapixel rear camera and 13-megapixel selfie- shooter with an aperture of f/1.7 and f/1.9 respectively.

However, the full specifications of both smartphones are not available right now and the company says that the new Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) and Galaxy J7 (2018) will be bundled with Samsung Knox integration. Additionally, the smartphone gets Samsung+ app which offers real-time customer care support with numerous features such as Live Voice Chat, community support, and more.

While addressing at the launch event, Justin Denison, senior vice president of Mobile Product Strategy and Marketing at Samsung Electronics America, stated in a press release, “When it comes to smartphones, we know that one size doesn't fit all. The Galaxy lineup is designed to give consumers the flexibility to choose the phone that best fits their needs," He further added that “The J3 delivers high-quality features at a great price, and the J7 with its huge HD screen and amazing, advanced camera, is built for users who want more."

To recall the Galaxy J3 (2017) came with a 5-inch HD display, 2,600mAh battery, Exynos 7570 SoC, 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage. It packed a 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

It also came with a 5-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera and a 2,600mAh battery. On another hand, Galaxy J7 (2017) had a 5.5-inch full HD display, 1.6GHz octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage and 3,600mAh battery. In terms of optics, it got a 13-megapixel rear and front side cameras.
