Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Heart Transplant with Snapdragon 810

Samsung’s flagship device, Galaxy Note 4 is already soaring in the market with its two processor variants. Meanwhile, the tech giant has decided to test the same handset with a new and more superior processor, the Snapdragon 810. Two options are available to buy this device - in-house Exynos 7 Octa and Qualcomm Snapdragon 805. But now, it seems like the Korean gargantuan is working on its third variant which will get the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 SoC.

The updated Note 4 is in testing stage for South Korea market and being tested on select carriers of the country such as LG+, SKT, and Olleh. The Snapdragon 805 is enough powerful and speedy chip which has been blessing lots of devices with solid performance from a long time. But, there is only one catch that it supports only 32bit architecture. Only this lacking feature has made the chipmakers to bring something more superior. So, here is the Snapdragon 810 with 64bit architecture. It also uses Adreno 430 GPU instead of Adreno 420 GPU, found on 805.

Earlier, the new SoC caught in news because of some issues and reported as the cause of delay in the launching of LG G4 and Samsung Galaxy S6. However, the chipmaker had later denied from such rumour. The updated Note 4 as mentioned about is being tested in South Korea and it is expected that it will launch in the same market within few months.

The Snapdragon 810 powered Galaxy Note 4 is now under production at the same time when it’s manufacturing the next iteration of its smartphones for the next year release. To give a boost to the performance, the tech giant is trying to bless Note 4 lovers with a boon of extra power while the Exynos 7 Octa processor has the same CPU configuration. Well, just wait for the ‘new Note 4 with new soul’ to arrive.
