Galaxy On8 has been finally launched by Samsung on 1st August 2018 in the Indian market. Galaxy On8 (2018) is a modified version of Galaxy On8 that was previously launched in December 2016. The Galaxy On8 (2018) Edition is bundled with no cost EMI options and special launch offers.

Samsung Galaxy On8 (2018) Edition comes with a price tag of Rs 16,990. The users can purchase the smartphone from Flipkart and Samsung Official Website in India, whereas the deliveries of the smartphone will start from 6th August 2018. It will be available in two colors including Black and Blue.
The Samsung Galaxy On8 (2018) Edition boasts a 6-inch HD Super AMOLED Infinity Display which offers a screen resolution of 720x1480 pixels and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It runs on top of the line Android 8.0 Oreo Operating System based on Samsung Experience UX.
In terms of hardware, the smartphone has octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage that can be further extended up to 256GB by using a microSD card.
In terms of photography, Samsung Galaxy On8 (2018) has dual cameras on the rear panel with a combination of 16MP primary camera and 5-megapixel secondary camera with an aperture of f/1.7 and f/1.9 aperture respectively followed by an LED flash.
Up front, the smartphone gets a 16MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/1.9. Samsung claims that the camera of the smartphone comes with AI-powered capabilities including Live Focus, Background Blur Shape, Portrait Dolly, and Portrait Backdrop. The smartphone bundled with a Portrait Dolly and Portrait Backdrop to render a scenic image.
The Samsung Galaxy On8 (2018) supports dual- sim (nano) 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Under the hood, it is powered by a 3500mAh battery.
