Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3-VE with 5MP Camera Unveiled at Rs. 6,650

The South Korean tech giant has decided to update its old series and initiated the first step in the same by launching the Galaxy S Duos 3-VE, the updated variant of Galaxy S Duos 3. The phone has been listed on company’s online store to buy at Rs. 6,650.

The Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3-VE is codenamed SM-G316HU and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. Making available this handset at such budget price point, company has tried to give a competition to other budget smartphones available in market. It flaunts a 4-inch TFT display which provides WVGA (480x800 pixels) screen resolution.

To work like a performance beast, this smartphone takes power from dual-core 1.2GHz processor which is slightly better than the original Galaxy S Duos 3. It has 512MB RAM which is not appropriate to offer seamless experience, but the price tag makes us to rely on this less- capable RAM.

For imaging purpose, the Galaxy S Duos 3-VE sports a 5-megapixel rear snapper with LED flash. Is there any existence of front camera or not is quite obscure as company has not provided any information regarding front shooter. It comes mated with a 4GB internal storage; a microSD card slot is also there to store upto 64GB data. Battery capacity has been jumped to 1500mAh from original’s 1300mAh battery capacity

Company has not detailed about the 3G connectivity support, so we can’t speculate the 3G connectivity for this handset. However, the handset has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS, GLONASS, Micro-USB, and FM radio connectivity features bundled with it.
