Samsung Galaxy S8+ Support Page Goes Live, Bixby Branding Leaked

Samsung has reportedly confirmed that in next month, its Galaxy S8+ smartphone will also be introduced alongside the Galaxy S8 flagship model of the company. The South Korean manufacturer has also made a support page for the Samsung Galaxy S8+ handset along with model number SM-G955FD live in India. Moreover, the company’s new AI assistant Bixby has also been leaked in a trademark application.

The most renowned tipster Evan Blass on this weekend shared the branding and moniker of “Galaxy S8+” handset via a tweet, which was later confirmed by a thread on Reddit about the Samsung Support page of the upcoming flagship model getting live in India. The company has not unveiled any word regarding the specifications of the upcoming smartphones.

Samsung Bixby AI Assistant

Apart from this, the company’s new AI assistant Bixby also has been spotted in a trademark application. Twitter user Sam ECD Recycling was the first to spot the application, he wrote, “Samsung has just sent off this trademark application. Say hello to Bixby!”. The new Bixby logo looks exactly like the letter ‘B’ and comes along with a description “Smartphones; mobile telephones; portable computers; tablet computers; interactive computer software enabling an exchange of information across a computer network; computer software to enable the provision of information via communications networks; computer communication.”

The company is also expected to extend the AI assistance to all the native applications on board. After acquiring Viv labs, an Artificial-Intelligence software company, Samsung is making all possible efforts to push the technology to an upgraded level. The new Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ is highly expected to be introduced in March and will go on sale in the month of April 2017.
