Samsung Galaxy S8+ Unveiled With 6GB RAM and 128GB Storage

Samsung introduced its most awaited flagship smartphones Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ some days ago, which come in two display sizes and are blessed with ‘Infinity Display’. Both the smartphones pack almost same specification such as 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. Interestingly, the company has now unveiled a new variant of Galaxy S8+ in South Korea along with 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt memory space.

The Android device was firstly spotted by Android Headlines on the Samsung Korea’s website. The South Korean manufacturer is also offering a DeX station dock for free along with the Galaxy S8+ 6GB variant but is still not clear whether it is being given on purchase or with pre-orders. The handset has only been listed in South Korea but was also spotted on China FCC, which hints the launching of it in other countries too.

The exact availability details have not been disclosed by the company yet.

The Dual-SIM Galaxy S8+ 6GB variant features almost same specifications as Galaxy S8+ 4GB variant, except it's RAM and inbuilt storage. The 6GB RAM variant also comes with an option of expanding its storage capacity up to 256GB via microSD card. Moreover, the GSM handset is blessed with a 6.2-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display of resolution 1440 x 2960 pixels. In term of optics, it packs 12-megapixel ‘Dual-Pixel’ rear camera with optical image stabilisation and a f/1.7 aperture. An 8-megapixel front shooter along with autofocus and f/1.7 aperture has also been provided by the company for shooting selfies.
