Samsung Galaxy TabPro S with Windows 10 and Detachable Keyboard Showcased

At CES 2016, Samsung announced to launch a new Windows 10 based tablet dubbed as Galaxy TabPro S. Recently at a Samsung Forum event, held in Malaysia, Samsung revealed that the gadget will be launched in India, somewhere around April or May. The price of the Pro S has yet not been disclosed by the company. Earlier, it was rumored that Samsung Galaxy TabPro S tablet will be launched in February, but at CES 2016, Samsung dissent that possibility by announcing official expected dates, for its upcoming Pro tablet. The Galaxy TabPro S is expected to take on Google's Pixel C in western markets and in India, it will take on the iPad Pro, and Surface Pro4.

The tablet will operate on Windows 10 and is focused to incorporate a detachable keyboard at the top of the line. The upcoming Samsung tablet will be a 2-in-1 device having a 12-inch AMOLED display, including a screen resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels. The Galaxy TabPro S will be powered by an Intel Core m3 processor along with 4GB of RAM and will come up in two variants of 128GB and 256GB SSD storage capacity. The upcoming tablet will also feature a rear and a front snapper of 5-megapixel. The battery of the tablet will be backed up by 5200mAh power.

In terms of connectivity options, Galaxy TabPro S, will support 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and apart from 3G and 2G, the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S LTE version will also offer 4G LTE Category 6 connectivity. The tablet will also contain a USB Type-C Port and Micro-USB 2.0 port with GPS and NFC chips. The Galaxy TabPro S measures 290.3mmx198.8mmx6.3mm in size and has a weight of 693grams. It comes with an optional adapter for allowing connection with USB Type-A and HDMI devices.
