Samsung Launches Galaxy C5 Pro: Price, Specifications And More

Samsung, the Korean smartphone maker, has launched Galaxy C5 Pro in China with a price tag of CNY 2,499 (Approx. Rs. 24,100). The device is available for pre-orders via Samsung's China website and its shipping will start from March 16th. This latest Samsung Mobile can be bought in Lake Leaf and Powder Rose color variants. The Galaxy C5 Pro is the lighter version of earlier launched Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro.

The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro comes with a metal unibody design with antenna bands on the top and bottom chin at the back. The fingerprint scanner on the device has been embedded on the Home button, while the back camera is located in the top center. The speaker grille, the USB Type-C port, and the 3.5mm audio jack are situated at the bottom edge of the device. The volume buttons are on the left edge, while the power button is on the right edge of the smartphone.

On the specification front, the Galaxy C5 Pro resembles heavily with Galaxy C7 Pro except for display, battery, weight, and dimensions. The handset has been incorporated with a hybrid dual-SIM and operates on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The phone has a display 5.2-inch with full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) super AMOLED display and has been powered by the Snapdragon 625 octa-core Cortex-A53 chipset clocked at 2.5 GHz. Additionally, the smartphone packs 4GB of RAM along with expandable 64GB internal storage. The device weighs 145 grams and measures 145.7x71.4x7mm. The top smartphone sensors onboard include an acceleration sensor, fingerprint reader (underneath the Home Button), gyroscope, magnetometer, proximity sensor, and RGB light sensor.

On the camera front, the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro has a 16-MP rear camera having f/1.9 aperture and flash. The front camera is also of 16-MP, capable of recording video at 1080p at 30fps. The handset has been powered with 2600mAh battery that lasts up to 296 hours. The connectivity option on the device includes Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, NFC, and 4G LTE support.
