Samsung Launches Galaxy C9 Pro In India With 6GB RAM And 16-MP Selfie-Camera

Today, Samsung launches the Galaxy C9 Pro in Bhubaneswar for the Indian users with a price tag of Rs. 36,900. Interested buyers can pre-book the handset through select stores and online e-commerce websites from January 27. The gadget will be made available across all the retail centers of the country in the later half of February 2017. The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro will be accessible in two colors, Black and Gold. The company is additionally offering one-time screen replacement for a period of 12 months on pre-booking.

The Galaxy C9 Pro is the organization's first smartphone that comes with 6GB of RAM. It must be noted that the handset was launched in China, in October 2016. The double SIM (Nano+Nano) 4G-empowered Galaxy C9 Pro operates on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has a 6-inch full HD (1080x1920) AMOLED display. The handset has been fueled by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC, with four cores clocked at 1.95GHz and the rest at 1.4GHz. On the camera front, the Galaxy C9 Pro packs a 16-megapixel camera on both front and back. The back 16-megapixel camera accompanies an aperture of f/1.9 and a double LED flash. The selfie camera too has a similar aperture but without the flash module. This latest smartphone in India packs inbuilt storage of 64GB that is expandable through a microSD card (up to 256GB). The gadget measures 162.9x80.7x6.9mm and weighs 189 grams.

The Galaxy C9 Pro has a fingerprint scanner that has been mounted on the physical home button of the device. The smartphone packs a 4000mAh battery with quick charging support. Apart from 4G LTE, the connectivity choices on the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro incorporate Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n), GPS, Glonass, Beidou, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm sound jack.
