Sony Unveils Performance Packed Xperia XZ at INR 51,990

Sony India has come up with a new power packed smartphone named Xperia XZ. The event was held in Udaipur, Rajasthan which is also known as the City of Lakes. The pre-booking will start on the popular e-commerce giant Amazon India and also on the retail stores across the nation on 1 October.

The Android device will be available from October 10 at a hefty price tag of INR 51,990 while the best buy price is considered to be INR 49,990. The USP of Xperia XZ is that its three sensors mounted with rear camera and CMOS sensor can track and predict movement of objects in frame, reducing the chances of blurred shots; the laser autofocus sensor makes the camera better at locking focus on objects, especially in low-light conditions; and the RGBC-IR sensor providing accurate colour reproduction.

The above features are supported by the 6-element f/2.0 Sony G lens, with a 23-megapixel Exmor RS sensor and Sony ‘Bionz for mobile’ image processor. The front camera has a 13-megapixel wide angle aperture which has an Exmor RS sensor that’s 2.6 times bigger than the selfie camera. The GSM handset is also IP68 certified which making it dust and water resistant.

The display is 5.2 Inch Full HD which sports Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for ultimate scratch and damage resistance. The Sony Xperia XZ is a hybrid dual SIM smartphone which handles 4G VoLTE on both SIM Tray. There is a 64GB inbuilt storage and is powered by Snapdragon 820 engaged with 3 Gigabytes of RAM. Connectivity is USB and Type C cable and charging.

The device is fuelled with a 2900mAH battery pack which is charged with Sony UCH12W quick charger rated to deliver 5.5 hours of talk time on 10 minutes of charge and comes with the pack
