Swipe Telecom comes up with its latest budget-friendly smartphone dubbed as Konnect Plus priced at Rs 4,999. The smartphone will be available through Snapdeal, an e-commerce giant. Apart from the running features, the Konnect Plus has a sandstone finish back panel which is same as OnePlus One and Zen Cinemax 3.
Talking about the processor, the Android smartphone is powered by a MediaTek quad-core SoC clocked at 1.2GHz and comes with 2GB of RAM. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and has a 5-inch HD IPS display that gives a resolution of 720x1280 pixels alongside a pixel density of 320ppi.
The optics of the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel camera on the rear with flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. It has 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
The GSM-handset is powered by a 3000mAh battery that gives 10 hours of talk time and up to 220 hours of standby time, as claimed by the company. The smartphone has a Dual-SIM feature of which one is Micro slot and the second one is a regular slot. In terms of connectivity, the device features a Micro USB, FM radio, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, 3G, and GPS.
Konnect Plus is equipped with an ambient light sensor, accelerometer, and a proximity sensor and weighs 156 grams in the dimensions of 144x73x9.8mm. As a matter of fact, Swipe made an announcement last month, that he has partnered with domestically developed operating system - Indus OS alongside Celkon, which is already operating on Micromax devices.
