Teased: Is Project Caesar the next Yu Smartphone by Micromax

It seems like the Indian mobile maker Micromax is ready to bring another device under Yu branding, codenamed Project Caesar. The company has teased its upcoming device in two posters. One is clearly making fun of Xiaomi and another informs about its working progress.

The domestic mobile maker is indicating the Android Lollipop flavor for its upcoming Yu smartphone as hinted in both teasers. The tech giant went on Twitter and Facebook and posted both images to indicate about a new Yu device manufacturing. Well, the text on first poster reads, "KitKat in the age of Lollipop? Give me a break," it’s the clear indication that company is making fun of Chinese juggernaut Xiaomi as its devices still run on the Android 4.4 KitKat OS. However, the MIUI make all of them a more advanced in features than the stock Android Lollipop powered devices.

Teaser for Micromax next Yu device

We also know that the Micromax has the exclusive rights to use Cyanogen OS for its Yu branded smartphones. So, saying the upcoming Yu smartphone inferior than Xiaomi is also judgmental. Well, the second teaser on the other side shows the 60 percent completion of the unannounced handset with a codename Project Caeser by showing the ‘60% loading’ on moniker of Lollipop.

Not any other information regarding the upcoming device has been revealed by the maker. However, it is expected that it may be smaller in size than the Yu Yureka.  It is also speculated that the phone will reach in stores in April.
