The Budget-Friendly Smartphone, Panasonic T40 Roll Out at Rs. 5,990

After announcing a camera centric smartphone, Lumix DMC-CM1 for the great photography, now Panasonic has geared up to attract the budget-conscious consumers of India. Now, this Japan based Multinational Electronics Corporation has launched an affordable phone, called Panasonic T40 in the native market with a price tag of Rs. 5,990.

Despite, being a leading manufacturer of televisions, brand is also endeavoring to sustain its position in the market of affordable devices. Managing Director of Panasonic India, Manish Sharma has stated that the newly commenced handheld is a best proposition for consumers, which provides greatest innovation at an economical value, where the users do not need to compromise with thier expectations.

Talking about the device, which is armed with 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, alongside a secondary 2-megapixel selfie camera. This dual-SIM support gadget assimilates 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth functionalities of the connectivity front.

However, the device is engineered with 1.3GHz quad-core processor, but its chipset is still unspecified. In terms of memory, the Android KitKat 4.4.2-based smartphone incorporates 1GB RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage that can be enlarged up to 32GB via microSD card.

Peeking on the texture of T40, then it bears a 4-inch WVGA IPS display that confers a pixel resolution of 480x800p. And, it has been exhibited on ledges on retail stores with its 126x62.5x9mm dimension and weighing of 117 grams. At a low-cost, the handset also assimilates some advanced sensors such as ambient light, accelerometer and proximity.

Apparently, the domestic marketplace is crowded with various smartphones, which belongs to budget price category. At this place, first most inexpensive Android 4.4 KitKat smartphone, Moto E can be a tough rival for Panasonic T40.
