The Mid-Range Phablet: Huawei Ascend GX1 Popped Up at Cyberspace

Besides premium mobile phones such as Ascend Mate7 Monarch and sapphire-enclosed Ascend P7, Huawei is also working on regular smartphones side by side to gain leveraging from every portfolio. After Honor 6 Plus, a successor of Ascend line up, called GX1 has appeared in multiple tidings and has also been claimed to be launched as a mid-range device.

First spotted by GizmoChina, handset has been cataloged on a Chinese retail website: Gome.com along with a price tag of 1590 Yuan that is roughly $255. Apart from E-commerce site, company's upcoming handheld has passed through a certification agency: TENAA, wherefrom its all specification came into view before a proclamation.

In terms of display, gadget will join the category of smartphone-tablet hybrid: Phablet due to comprisal of a 6-inch screen size. Here, it will render an HD display with a pixel resolution of 720 x 1280p. Mobile phone has been said to be decked with a quad-core processor, which is clocked at 1.4GHz operating frequency.

Glancing at imaging, it's back panel will be outfitted with an 8-megapixel camera and the plus-sized device will also bestow 2-megapixel selfie snapper. The availability of 1GB RAM alongside 8GB of internal storage and support for MicroSD card slot have been mentioned by informant, but its maximum storage capacity is yet-unknown.
