The Rugged Smartphone, Samsung Galaxy XCover 3 Leaked in Images

Despite being in headlines due to an upcoming high-end and avant-garde smartphone: Galaxy S6, Samsung is prepping to bring a brand-new handset with ruggedized build, called Galaxy XCover 3 to gain more fame. By the courtesy of GSM Arena, some images of company's unannounced scion have come into view which are clearly showing the actual look of mobile phone.

To remind you, tech giant has already commenced various rugged devices such as Rugby 4, Galaxy S5 Active & S4 Active and predecessors of this unofficial mobile: Galaxy XCover & XCover 2 to provide trustworthy companions for active-sports enthusiasts, field workers and adventure-seekers. And now, firm has geared up to diversify this confined series by adding this advanced and improved quality smartphone, which can withstand uneven atmospheric situations.

Appended with a SM-G388F, smartphone has been also spotted in database of GFXBench, wherefrom its almost specifications have disclosed. Paired with a 1.2GHz quad-core Marvell PXA1908 processor, mobile phone comprises Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system.

The reports are suggesting that it will feature a 4.8-inch WVGA display with a pixel resolution of 800 x 480p. The incorporation of 3G, NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth options have been also mentioned by informant. On imaging front, gadget will bestow a 5-megapixel sensor alongside 2-megapixel selfie snapper.

Other specs include, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage and some sensors such as accelerometer, barometer, compass and proximity. Well, single SIM supported Galaxy XCover 3 is yet-to-be confirmed by Samsung, so we will have to wait to get a detailed information about this device.
