The Uniquely-Crafted Firefox Smartphone: LG Fx0 Declared

By the collaboration of Mozilla, LG has launched its Firefox OS 2.0 based smartphone, which has been designated as Fx0. Besides an appellation of the most Powerful Firefox handset, new heir of tech giant bears a transparent shell to catch the eyes of fashionistas as well as to be called as most aesthetically-designed handset.

Apparently, one of the highlighted part of mobile phone is its exterior and cosmetics, where it's completely enclosed by a transparent cover. And, this innovative and peerless look has been given by world's noted designer, Tokujin Yoshioka.

To remind you, South Korean Conglomerate was in rumors from a while ago that it's working on a smartphone to rule over the emerging segment of Firefox based devices and now it came across as true. But, proclamation of this newly-launched gadget has refuted the earlier reports at some aspects.

Diving into LG Fx0, handheld features a 4.7-inch IPS display, while previous sources have suggested 4.6-inch HD display. Talking about imaging, device is outfitted with 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash alongside 2.1-megapixel front shooter.

The mobile phone is packed with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with a clock speed of 1.2GHz. The other USP of this state-of-the-art device is inclusion of NFC support along with 4G LTE connectivity option.

Memory-wise, it's arrayed with 1.5GB RAM along with 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be enlarged upto 64GB through microSDXC card. Furthermore, LG Fx0 is powered by a 2,370 mAh battery and measures 139 x 70 x 10.5 mm dimension with 148g of weighing. Notably, handset has been priced at JPY 50,000 that is approximately Rs. 26,300 and will initially go on sale in Japan from December 25 via a Japanese carrier: KDDI.
