A while ago, famous tipster: Upleaks had made rounds online with the tidings of an upcoming smartphone: Sony Xperia Cosmos, which had heated up the cyberspace. And now, informant has revealed that device will carry a moniker: C4 instead of Cosmos. As the name suggests, this yet-to-be announced handset of tech giant is the legitimate successor of mid-range: Xperia C3.
Notably, @upleaks has posted on its Twitter account, "Confirmed：Sony Cosmos will be going to the market as Xperia C4." And, it clearly suggests that Xperia Cosmos will be launched as Xperia C4. To remind you, previously informer had leaked some specifications of this new scion of Xperia C family as well as shared a couple of images, which gave hints about the actual look of device.
If the report is to be believed, handset will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and it will be compatible with 4G LTE networks. The inclusion of a 5-megapixel front shooter with LED flash has also been mentioned, which we had seen in its predecessor. But, there is no information about the rear snapper of handheld.
The device is expected to be engineered with a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor, however clock speed is yet-unknown. Well, rest of the specs are still the mystery, so we will have to wait till the official announcement to get a deep knowledge about Sony Xperia C4.
As we know, Xperia C3 had seen light of the day in July 2014, so multiple sources are speculating that next-iteration of Japanese Conglomerate Corporation could make its first glimpse around the same time of this year.
