UMi Zero: Yet Another Chinese Smartphone Way to Touch Indian Shores

Well, it seems like the booming Indian tech space is a lucrative proposition for almost leading consumer electronics companies, where they want to make their stronghold. And, Chinese manufacturers are looking more fervent and zealous in introducing feature-rich devices at competitive prices to capture the marketplace of India.

After Xiaomi, OnePlus, Huawei and many more, yet another China based manufacturer: Umi is prepping bring its well-built handset, called UMi Zero in native market. As per Giz China, “Umi are in talks with Flipkart to promote and sell the UMi Zero in India.”

To remind you, this E-commerce website is an exclusive retailer of some captivating smartphones of well-known brands like Xiaomi and Motorola. And now, its name has again popped up during the upcoming handset of Umi. However, we are yet to receive more information regarding this partnership as well as it's still unknown that phone will go sale in similar fashion or not.

Apparently, device has seen light of the day in last year, where it had mesmerized the folks due to comprisal of alluring and decent specifications. Along with 6.4 mm thickness, handset is outfitted with a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash alongside an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with Sony's sensor.

Paired with a 2GHz MediaTek MT6592T octa-core processor, mobile is fueled by a 2400mAh battery. The incorporation of 2GB RAM along with 16GB of internal memory also makes it quite eye catching. Here, its inbuilt storage can be extended upto 64GB.

Moreover, this Android 4.4 KitKat based smartphone is currently available in global market with a price tag of price tag of $299.99, but we will have to wait for a while to know the pricing details for domestic space.
