Vivo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer recently launched two flagship smartphones, dubbed as Nex S and Nex A, particularly in the China market. A new rumor that has appeared on the internet recently claiming that the Chinese tech giant would be planning to unveil Nex S and Nex A in India later in July month expected to be available at a starting price of Rs 40,000.
Currently, it is not confirmed whether the Vivo will launch both Nex A and Nex S in the Indian market or not. The Nex A powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC is expected to be priced at Rs 40,000, whereas the Snapdragon 845-powered Nex S is likely to be available at a higher price as compared to Nex A.

X21 being offered by Vivo is the first smartphone that comes with an under-display fingerprint scanner and Nex S is the second smartphone to feature same technology. The Vivo X21 was launched in India on 29th May 2018 which is available for purchase exclusively at Flipkart at a price tag of Rs 35,990. The Nex S features a pop-up selfie camera and ScreenSound Casting Technology to remove the jack of traditional earpiece.
The Vivo Nex S and Nex A are identical to each other in terms of specification except the Nex S is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM whereas Nex A has Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM. The Nex S comes with under- display fingerprint scanner, whereas the Nex A has a conventional rear-mounted fingerprint scanner
The rest of the specifications of both flagship smartphones are same i.e., 6.59-inch Super AMOLED display, 19.3:9 aspect ratio, 91.24 percent screen-to-body ratio and a screen resolution of 1080x2316 pixels. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo skinned with Funtouch OS 4.
The Vivo Nex A and Nex S come with rear cameras consisting of a 12MP primary camera offering 4-axis OIS, f/1.8 aperture, phase detection autofocus and a 5MP secondary camera with an aperture of f/2.4. For selfies and video calling, both Nex S and Nex A have an 8MP selfie pop-up camera with f/2.0 aperture. The flagship Nex A and Nex S get a 4,000mAh battery integrated with fast charging support.
The Nex A and Nex S Dual have 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0 LE and a USB Type-C port as connectivity options.
It is anticipated that the Nex A and Nex S will be available at a starting price of Rs Rs 40,000. The Nex A and Nex S are priced at CNY 3,898 (Rs 41,133) and CNY 4,498 (Rs 47,465) respectively in the China market.
