Vivo Unveils Two New Smartphones in India With Split-Screen Feature

Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has again unveiled two new Dual-SIM smartphones in India - the Vivo V3 and Vivo V3Max, evaluated at Rs. 17,980 and Rs. 23,980 individually after launching a series of smartphones over the past few weeks namely Vivo Y31L, Vivo X6, Vivo X6 Plus, and the recently launched music focused smartphones Vivo X6S and the Vivo X6S Plus. This is the first time that the organization has revealed the cell phones globally, and is touting their 'premium components' and faster fingerprint sensor recognition an highlighting factor.

The Vivo V3 in terms of specifications operates on the company's default Funtouch OS 2.5 based on Android operating system (5.1 Lollipop). It wears a 5-inch display giving a resolution of 720x1280 pixels and is controlled by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 SoC combined with 3GB of RAM. The GSM based smartphone bears a 13-megapixel back camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. In terms of memory storage, it sports 32GB of inbuilt stockpiling that is expandable up to 128GB through microSD card. It offers the standard network connectivity options also incorporating 4G LTE support in India and is powered by a 2550mAh battery.

The Vivo V3Max is almost identical to the Vivo V3, except in terms of the battery, display size, memory, and processor since it sports a 5.5-inch display featuring a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels and protected by a coating of 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. The handset runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC, bears 4GB of RAM, and is controlled by a 3000mAh battery. Apart from the aforementioned difference of details, other specs of Vivo V3Max remains identical to the Vivo V3.

Aside from the quick unique fingerprint sensor unlocking, the organization has also incorporated a unique split-screen feature in the smartphone that permits the users to multitask - for instance, viewing a movie while chatting with a friend.
