VIVO Y51 and Y51L Get Licensed By China's TENNA

The leading telecommunications company in Brazil, VIVO, has got two of its smartphones, namely, VIVO Y51 and Y51L, certified by the Chinese regulatory agency TENNA. Back in November, two  models- Y37A and Y51A from the same technocrat were passed via the agency and now the manufacturer lined-up another duo set clearing the certification. Both the models (Y51 and Y51L) have been spotted indexed on the website of Chinese Telecommunications Equipment Center.

Specs-wise, both the devices are so identical to each other that the exact contrasting factor is hardly visible (apart from the Android version on both the devices).

Vivo Y51

Powering the Y51 is a 1.2 GHz processor that is packaged by a 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of expandable internal storage. It sports a 5-inch (960x540 pixel) resolution TFT Display. As per the camera specifications, the Y51 is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear unit and a 5-megapixel front facing shooter. The handset will run Android 5.0 Lollipop and weighs 157 grams. Measuring 143.8×71.7×7.52 (mm) in dimensions, the smartphone includes white color option.

When it comes to Y51L, the device, interestingly, comes with almost exact design and specifications as per the certification report. The only reportable difference is that the L model will run on Android Lollipop 5.0.2 out of the box. It is reckoned that the two smartphones will make their entry in the coming weeks as most of the handsets on VIVO's assembly line-up have been leaked on TENNA.
