Wait for 2015 to taste Android Lollipop in Spice Android One Device

When several flagship devices have started getting the new flavor to taste, then how can an Android One device remains untouched from the new taste. The Android 5.0 is now official and Google has also begun serving the new dish in other plates. In this pipeline, the Android One devices are waiting for their turn to get the new flavor. Spice Dream Uno Mi-498 is expected to be the first in the queue for getting the new update.

What the Mountain View giant wants from the maker is a little wait until 2015 comes. Yes, it is said that Dream Uno Mi-498 may get the same next year in January. A spokesperson from Company said, "Dream Uno will surely get the Android Lollipop update but you will have to wait till January 2015 to enjoy its goodness."

These Android One devices were introduced to achieve the goal of reaching to the India’s every single region. But, arrays of budget smartphones with Android KitKat platform support seemed to make it fail with their high-end features. First announced at Google I/O 2014 and then made India debut in the partnership with three domestic mobile Companies Spice, Micromax and Karbonn.

Leaving Karbonn and Micromax behind, Spice has conquered the race and ranked first for getting Android Lollipop for its Dream Uno Mi-498 smartphone. Featuring 4.5-inch display with 854x480 pixels resolution, this device is powered by quad-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek processor. Other specifications include 1GB RAM, 4GB inbuilt storage, 32GB expandable storage, 5MP rear camera and 2MP front shooter.

Android One is Google’s project which had already announced that it will soon update all Android One devices with latest Android version, but now it has been delayed and set for next year to update.
