Despite being relatively new mobile industry, Wiio has made yet another attempt to make its stronghold in the Indian marketplace of budget smartphones by announcing an Android 4.4 KitKat based 3G-capable handset, called WI3 at just Rs. 7,499. Apparently, corporation has already gained good market shares in domestic space through its previous devices: WI-Star 3G and Wiio WI5, and now novel scion of firm has been commenced with a goal of obtaining better revenue.
To remind you, device had made its first glance back in March, but details about its pricing and selling was unknown. In association with an E-commerce site: Snapdeal, this homegrown mobile maker has launched the handset in native space. It has been cataloged on the official website of online retailer with the above mentioned price tag, through which it will be exclusively available.
The trump cards of handheld are a whopping 4000mAh battery, which is capable to fulfill the desire of outdoor-oriented consumers that crave for a long lasting battery in mobile phones. Featuring a 5.0-inch IPS QHD display with metal edges, phone gives charming appearance.
In terms of imaging, this invention of firm is fitted with an 8-megapixel rear shooter and accommodates a 2-megapixel selfie snapper. Engineered with a quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz operating frequency, it houses 1GB RAM in order to take the full advantage of this multitasking SoC.
Memory-wise, mobile comprises 8GB of internal storage, which can be extended up to 32GB via a microSD card. Connectivity options include, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS functionality. Moreover, this Dual SIM supported smartphone will be procurable in Gray color model, but a specific date of availability is yet-to-be revealed.
