After launching a low-cost smartphone: WI-Star 3G, the Jaipur-based mobile maker: WiiO is all set to commence its brand-new handset: WI3 to bring yet another good proposition for budget-conscious consumers. Apparently, this novel creation of firm confers latest technology and houses a plenty of impressive specs in its shell and it looks like a smart move of firm in making a stronghold in booming Indian tech space.
However, the price tag for mobile phone has not been specified yet, but a report of financialexpress has claimed that director at Wiio Mobiles: Rohit Ghai has stated that "smartphone by us will be priced between Rs 4,000 to Rs 15,000 and will target young adults and youth in the age group of 15-40 years catering to the middle and upper middle segment across tier I as well as Tier II cities Where exactly Wiio’s phones are placed in terms of competition."
Coming to specifications, handset is equipped with a Quad Core Mediatek MTK6582Processor, which is capable to perform more than one task at the same time, but its clock speed is yet-unknown. The main USP of forthcoming mobile is inclusion of a mammoth 4000mAh Battery that we had recently seen in Lava Iris Fuel 60 and Intex Aqua Power HD.
As per official website: gadget will be fitted with an 8-megapixel rear shooter along with a 2-megapixel selfie snapper. The comprisal of 1GB RAM alongside 8GB of internal storage has also been mentioned, but its maximum storage capacity is yet-to-be specified.
Moreover, handheld will feature a decent 5.0-inch IPS QHD Display and an elegant exterior. Targeting to the lower and mid segment of smartphones, director at Wiio also affirmed that WiiO WI3 will receive free upgrade to Lollipop, says financialexpress.
