Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Specs Leaked

It seems that Xiaomi has started working on the successor of Black Shark which has been recently spotted on GeekBench as well as TENAA. To recall, the Xiaomi Black Shark was launched only in the China market this year in April. Since the launch of Black Shark, it has not been unveiled in international markets. Black Shark has been designed particularly for the gaming purpose to take on the likes with Razer Phone.

Black Shark 2 has started appearing on the web in the form of leaks which reveals the launch date of the upcoming smartphone. It is anticipated that Xiaomi could unveil the Black Shark 2 gaming smartphone on October 23. According to the poster, it is not completely verified that the said image is of Black Shark 2, and probably it is of the Black Shark global variant.

The Xiaomi Black Shark Gaming Smartphone was launched in April and it is being speculated that Xiaomi could soon launch the Black Shark 2.

Black Shark 2 was spotted in TENAA in late September which disclosed some of the specifications of the upcoming smartphone. The official launch date of Black Shark 2 has not been revealed by Xiaomi so it’s just a rumour.

Black Shark 2 Rumored Specifications

The alleged Black Shark 2 with model number AWM-A0 was spotted on GeekBench. The GeekBench Listing revealed the rumoured benchmarking scores of Black Shark 2 that has scored 2403 in single- core test and 8389 in multi-core test. As per the listings, the device is said to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, 8GB of RAM and Android 8.1 Oreo.

The new global website of Black Shark is captioned with words like 'Sharks Approaching' and 'Unleashing Soon' but not disclosed more information about it.

The TENNA listing revealed that the upcoming Black Shark gaming smartphone is likely to come with a 5.99-inch full-HD+ display, a 4,000mAh battery, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, Adreno 630 GPU and up to 8GB of RAM. It is anticipated that Xiaomi might offer a dedicated liquid cooling technology and thermal management in Black Shark 2 which helps to protect the service from overheating and provide a better gaming experience.

Leaks so far have not disclosed the price of Black Shark 2 but the first Black Shark was launched at a starting price of CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 31,100) and went to CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 36,300).
