Xiaomi Mi 7 Live Images Spotted on Chinese Social Network Weibo

Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is expected to launch the flagship smartphone Mi 7 on 23rd May in China. The upcoming flagship smartphone has been in the news, as the leaks had started appearing on the internet in the past few weeks. Previously this year in April, CEO of Xiaomi in its Weibo account had officially announced that the Xiaomi Mi 7 would come with under- display fingerprint scanner. Recently, the live images of Mi 7 have been spotted on the Chinese social network, Weibo which suggest that smartphone will come with a notch on the top of the display.

The leaked images have revealed that there are two smartphones placed side by side to each other, which looks identical. According to the leaked images, both of the smartphones have a vertically stacked dual rear cameras and the rounded fingerprint scanner is positioned in the center of the smartphone. The major highlighting difference in both of the smartphone is that one has a bigger screen size and rounded corners. As reported by the technological website, as of now only three smartphones come with vertically stacked dual- rear cameras namely premium Mi Mix 2S, Xiaomi Mi 6X and Redmi Note 5 Pro. It seems that leaked images could be of Mi 7. The leaked images indicating that the Chinese company would offer Mi 7 in two different variants.

Two other images have revealed that the smartphone has a cut- out display on the front panel of the smartphone. The leaked images of Mi 7 brings a thin- bezels along with rounded corners as well as narrow bezel on the bottom of the display. The third image has revealed the specifications of the upcoming flagship smartphone which codenamed with “dipper”, it is anticipated that the Xiaomi Mi 7 will feature a 6GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal storage and likely to run on Android 8.1 Oreo and also a 2.8 GHz octa-core processor we have seen in the spec sheet.

Earlier leak reports suggested that the Xiaomi Mi 7 is likely to come with full HD+ 5.6-inch display and a 4,480 mAh battery. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC was confirmed by Lei Jun earlier this year in December. It is speculated that the smartphone will come with dual 16 MP rear cameras and a single 13MP front-facing camera.

It seems that the Xiaomi might also offer the flagship smartphone in 8GB RAM variant along with 64 GB, and 256 GB internal storage variant apart from the 128 GB.
